The Village
Well,I went to watch night shaymalan's "The Village" at Bishan Junction 8 with Konrad and Cheah Jun...Well advice for those going to watch it....DON'T.It is abit of a lame twist...U see at first i thought.....Well i dun want to spoil the suspense....Well i just i want to tell it!!
Ok.If you still want to watch the movie and you dun want to spoil the suspense Then you better dun read the next paragraph.
Well, this village is actually surrounded by the covington Woods in England.The village lead a life of simplicity eg growing their own food,herding thei own sheeo etc.They talk in perfect old english just like the 1800's.Well I thought it it was in 1800's.It turned out to be that it is actually our present times.They believe that there were creatures living in covington woods that were beastly creatures and according to their elders..If they ever past the woods,they would be killed.So the villagers never entered the forest.They were in fact afraid of it when the elders talked abt ppl entrin' it and died.I don;t really know how those people settled in that area.
Well,it turned out to be that it was not the 1800's at that time.It was our present time...!!The village was actually behind civilisation!Well the elders came from the cities and form the village because they all had faced deadly crimes such as rape,murder in their family and etc.They made up these creatures to scare the villagers.It was all make-up.Fake.The twist was stupid
