Johor trip to my Aunt's
Well the last two days i have been to my Uncle Ros and Cik Yah's house in Skudai baru,Johor.It has been a long time since i met them again.I think it is about 8 months. Their poor daughter could not come back from Russia to meet them because she is having a doctorate exam there.I think she is the smartest cousin i have who got to go to Russia and she is one of the few Singaporeans who could read,write and speak russian.(She's only a PR in Malaysia but she is still a Singaporean.)
First Day-20th November 2004
Well, I woke up at 8am all excited to go to johor.I have not gone there for a long time.I took a bath and was all prepared by 8:45. My aunt, Cik Pah was picking us up to head for Cik Yah's house in Johor. My uncle will be coming with her with my youngest cousin Farouk who is just very adorable.They came at 9:30 and we were all set to go. We plan to visit my Grandmother's grave at Gelang Patah first before heading for Cik Yah's house. Well there was a slight jam at The 2nd link but it was quite fast. We reached my grandmother's grave at about 11:30. After i gave my blessings and read her Al-fatihah. I suddenly remembered how i use to not like her so much,im beginning to feel guilty for not being so close with her.
Then,we headed for my aunt's bungalow house at Skudai Baru. Well they actually prepared lunch for us and we were so happy.It was delicious. Her Nasi goreng was really tasty. Since it was hari raye, she gave us each a green packet, one for me and one for my sis. She got an extra bracelet and ncklace which my aunt said that was good for her blood system.Some necklace it was i guess.Uncle Ros had actually reserved a hotel for all of us to stay.
And so, we headed for the hotel. I decided to take Uncle ros' car with my sister.It was really nice. Some Van he has. Well the Hotel was called "The M suites" I dunno why but it was a five star hotel along the coast of Johor Bahru. My unled had actually checked us into a Deluxe suite there. There were two rooms. I got tired so i slept till 6pm. Then i prayed Asar,(btw,i prayed zohor at my aunt's house) and then Uncle Ros planned to take us to somewhere special for dinner.
And so again we went out, It was The Restaurant "Singgah Selalu" In enligh it means Always visit.I guess the food must be tasty. I was right. It was downright heavenly, super good!!! We finished the food by 8:30. Then we went to Danga Bay.It was some kind of a recreational place somehow like East Coast. It was fun. I bought some candy floss, took pictures with my digi cam and then we went to but stuff at the bazaar. Then we headed back for our hotel. By that time it was 11. I went straight to bed.
