SYF AuditionsWell,SYF 2005.all schs with cultural groups aiming for gold...
Anywae...last thursday was our syf auditions.Mr Kwei was there to test us.It was very scarry.After choir photo taking,he asked for the basses to audition first.I was really scared.It was lyk i was trembling and then i practised outside the choir room.The other sections were also nervous.Tenor section is next and thats my section.Ohh no!! so we all went in.Sat in a line.And lucky Josjua Cheong went first.Then nexy person....then it was reuben's turn.After him im next.Im so nervous.I had butterflies in my tummy.He sang too well,Reuben was VERY GOOD.im now really scarred.Then Mr Kwei called me
Mr Kwei:Wads your Name
Me:Fadhil from 3F
Mr kwei:You may begin(give me the fist note)
Me:starts singing
I was so nervous.i sang correctly for the first part then i ran out of breath...Then after awhile mr kwei asked me to stop..
Soon the whole section finised and so next was the altos then the sopranos.We were all happy that it was finished..Then,it was the results.Well it started with the Sopranos.16 made it icluding Ben Kang...im very happy for him.Then,there's the KIV ppl(Keep in view)They are the bprderline singers that will have another auditions to confirm that they are safe.The rest,well they failed.Then altos,Well poor konrad did ot make it he failed.
Then it was tenor...onli 10 made it!!I was so scarred.Tenor had 29 ppl.Lest then half made it
And i DID NOT MAKE IT!!.i was so sad.Then Mr kwei mentioned the KIV PPl.
Mr Kwei:These are the 3 tenor KIV's.They are fadhil,EDmund Lim and Timothy Joel.
Thank god,i was relieved.Now i have to concentrate on my next auditions.I BETTER MAKE IT!!!!.
